Shopify Point Of Sale (POS) integration
Shopify POS is a point-of-sale app that you can use to sell your products in person. You can use Shopify POS to sell almost anywhere, including brick-and-mortar stores, markets, and pop-up shops. The Shopify POS app is available for only iOS and Android devices.
Shopify POS syncs with Shopify to track orders and inventory across your retail locations, online store, and other active sales channels. You can even view and manage your store's orders from the app.
With the integration of our Product Options Variant Option app and Shopify POS, you can further customization customer experience by bringing as much customization to them both online and offline.
A. How to integrate our app into the POS system
1. Install the Point of Sale application on your mobile/POS device and log in
2. Navigate to the Homepage and click on “Add tile”
3. Select "App" -> "Avis Product Options"
Kindly note that to have this selection, our app needs to be installed in your Shopify Admin prior to this.
4. There are 2 tiles available, one to manage properties (App website), one to customize variant options, and product variants (App extension)
You can click "Add" to add the tile that you want on this part.
5. Click "Save" after adding the tiles and putting them in the correct position
The POS integration is now officially live on the store front.
B. How to use our app on your POS devices after the integration
App website
This tile allows picking options from Avis Product Options into the product when you add the product to cart. 1. Add the product that the customer wants to cart.
You can either type in the product in the Search in the Home tab or in the Product tab. The product can also be found inside the Products tab
2. Select the variants of the product (if any), choose the Location of the variant/product and click on "Add to cart"
3. Navigate to the Home tab, click on Manager Properties tile of Avis Product Options
4. Click on "Add Option" in the tile, then select the variant accordingly and hit "Save"
Note: If the customer selects the Add Charge option, there will be an additional product added to the cart automatically and this product has the same price/properties of the Add Charge option.
5. Click on the Button representing the cart function, then click on 3 dots icon to acquire more actions
6. Verify that all information got added correctly and hit "Checkout".
Woah lah, you can now start selling offline with our option through Shopify POS!
