Avis Option Settings
This guide will walk you through the General Settings available in the AvisPlus Product Options app. These settings allow you to control how options, add-ons, and customization features display on your store’s product and cart pages.
General
Application status: Toggle to enable or disable AvisPlus Product Options across your store. Once disable, the Avis option won't work on your store front (all themes) without going into each theme and deactivate the app
Your theme: Displays the current Shopify theme applied (e.g., Dawn).
Widget Settings
Position: Choose where the widget will appear on the product page. (e.g., Above Add to Cart button). Show widget on quickview: Enable/disable widget display on collection and home page quickview pop-ups. Learn more about Theme quickview here
Show widget on home page: Enable/disable widget display on the featured product section of the home page.
Fonts
Font name: Enter only letters and spaces. This will be the font name shown on the product page.
Upload fonts: Add custom fonts to your store by uploading
.otf,.ttf,.woff, or.woff2files.Uploading a font with the same name will overwrite the existing file.
Click Submit to apply changes.
Cart Page
Allow Edit option in cart: Toggle this on to let customers edit product options directly in the cart.
Add-On Product Display in Cart:
Display Separately: Shows add-ons as individual line items for clearer order information.
Merge with Main Product (default): Combines add-ons with the main product as custom options.
Product Page
Update add charge amount to product price: Automatically updates the product price when an option with additional charges is selected.
Show add charge notification: Displays a notification when an extra charge is applied.
Show Compare-at price: Allows customers to see the original price vs. updated price with add-ons.
Out-of-Stock Options
Disable option value: Prevent customers from selecting out-of-stock option values.
Error Validation Display Type
Inline validation error: Displays error messages directly under the option when validation fails.
Highlight
Show highlight: Enable this to emphasize options with visual highlights for better customer experience.
Save Changes
Once you finish configuring the settings, click Save at the bottom right to apply them.
