Avis Option Settings
This guide will walk you through the General Settings available in the AvisPlus Product Options app. These settings let you control how your product options, add-ons, and customizations display on you
General
Application status: Toggle this on or off to enable/disable AvisPlus Product Options across your store.
When disabled, the Avis options will no longer appear on your storefront (for all themes). To deactivate the app theme by theme, you’ll need to manually turn it off inside each theme.
Your theme: Shows which Shopify theme is currently applied (e.g., Dawn).
Widget Settings
Position: Choose where the options widget appears on your product page (e.g., Above Add to Cart button).

Show widget on quickview: Turn this on if you’d like the Avis options to display in product quickview pop-ups on collection or homepage sections.
Show widget on home page: Enable this to show Avis options on the featured product block on your homepage.
Fonts
Fonts uploaded here work across Font options and the Product Personalizer, like your own font library.
Font name: Enter only letters and spaces. This will be the display name shown on the product page.
Upload fonts: Upload custom fonts in
.otf,.ttf,.woff, or.woff2formats.Uploading a font with the same name will replace the existing one.
Don’t forget to click Submit to apply your changes.
Cart Page
Allow Edit option in cart: Toggle this on to let customers edit product options directly in the cart.
Great for when you want to give customers flexibility to change their mind before checkout.
Add-On Product Display in Cart:
Display Separately: Shows add-ons as separate line items for clearer order details.
Merge with Main Product (default): Combines add-ons with the main product as part of its custom options.
Product Page
Update add charge amount to product price: Automatically updates the product’s price whenever a chargeable option is selected.
Show add charge notification: Shows a notification letting customers know when an extra charge has been applied.
Show Compare-at price: Lets customers see the original product price alongside the updated price with add-ons.
Out-of-Stock Options
This setting works only with Bundle and Add charge options (not Keep Price, since those don’t track stock).
Disable option value: Shows the option value but makes it unclickable when stock runs out.
Hide option value: Completely hides option values that are out of stock until they’re available again.
Error Validation Display Type
Inline validation error: Displays an error message right under the option when validation fails.
Validation error alert: Shows a browser pop-up alert with the error message.
Highlight
Show highlight: Turn this on to highlight options that are required but not yet selected, making them more noticeable to customers.
Localization tab
In the Localization tab, you can:
Change default option texts (e.g., button labels, upload text, notifications).
Translate texts into your preferred language using the Translate setting button.
Save Changes
After adjusting your settings, don’t forget to click Save at the bottom right to apply everything.
