Image dropdown menu

The Image Dropdown Menu option type allows customers to select from a list of image-based options presented in a dropdown format. This option type is ideal for products with multiple visual variations, such as different designs, patterns, or styles, providing a visual representation along with a textual description for each option.

Basic Option Settings:

1. Option Name

The internal name used to identify this group of image dropdown options within your app, helping you organize and manage your product options efficiently.

2. Label on Product

This label appears next to the image dropdown menu on the product page, guiding customers on what the dropdown list represents (e.g., "Select Design" or "Choose Pattern").

3. Label on Cart

The label shown in the shopping cart, order details, invoices, packing slips, order confirmation emails, and other order-related documents. It clearly indicates the image selection made by the customer.

4. Option URL

Allows you to link specific image options in the dropdown menu to external URLs. Customers can select these options to be directed to another page or site for additional information.

5. Option Values

Add the different image choices available in the dropdown menu. Each option value includes an image icon where you can upload any image you want (supported formats: PNG, JPEG, JPG, WEBP), accompanied by a text box where you can fill in the name or description of the image. You can add these values individually using "Add option value" or in bulk using the "Bulk add" feature.

6. Default Value

Set a default image option that will be pre-selected when the product page loads, guiding customers towards a recommended or popular choice.

7. Conditional Logic

Apply conditional logic to control when certain image dropdown menu options are displayed based on other selections made by the customer. This creates a more personalized and interactive shopping experience.

Advanced Option Settings:

1. Required Field

Make it mandatory for customers to select an image option from the dropdown menu before adding the product to their cart. This ensures that all necessary choices are made.

2. Hide "Label on Product"

Option to hide the label next to the image dropdown menu on the product page for a cleaner, more streamlined appearance.

3. One Time Charge

This feature allows an additional charge to be applied just once for a selected image option, regardless of the product quantity. It's useful for special features or add-ons that require a one-time fee.

4. Show "Quantity" for Option Value

Enable customers to specify the quantity for each image option in the dropdown menu. You can set minimum and maximum quantity limits for better control.

5. Placeholder Text

Add placeholder text that appears in the dropdown menu before a selection is made. This can prompt customers to make a choice (e.g., "Please select an image").

6. Tooltip

Provide additional information about each image option by adding tooltips. When customers hover over an image, the tooltip will display, offering further details.

7. Help Text

Display help text below the dropdown menu to offer further explanation or instructions, helping customers make informed selections.

8.Class Name

For advanced customization, add custom CSS class names to the image dropdown menu. This allows you to style it according to your brand’s design standards, ensuring a cohesive look across your product page.
